Thunders lost this macth by a big margin of 66 runs by chasing a huge target of 180.

Match highlights:

• NOVA CC captian Rahul won the toss and elected to bat.

• They started with slow runrate of 4.00 for the first four overs and kept moving the runrate of 11.00 in the next 6 overs which resulted 79 runs in first 10 overs with a runrate of 8.00.

• With a bliztering fine 53 from the opener, NOVA CC captain Rahul, the runfeast continued all over the ground by sixes and fours. Well batting support from the middle order batsmans by keeping the scoreboard busy.

• Their batting were unstoppable. Thunders bowlers showed a poor performance with the ball and bat later too. They were not able to get right deliveries in black holes. The support from the fielding is a poor disaplay on that day. So it all went fine in the way of NOVA CC to reach a huge target of 180 in 20 overs. 100 runs were scored in the next 10 overs after the drinks break with a runrate of 10.00.

• Chasing of 180 is not a easy task. But scoring 9 runs from 6 balls is reachable in twenty20 form of game.

• They lost their opening partnership in the first few overs itself, by slow running between the wickets caused a runout of opener Krithik. However an early break, the other opener Rajesh A Sharma steadied the innings to well determined 23 but not able to convert this to a big one.

• Still they managed to get 75+ in the first 10 overs with the support of Muruganand, Joseph, Sanjai Prabu and Ravivarman but they failed to steady the innings. So the wickets were falling in regular intervals.

• It was 90 runs to win from 48 balls in 12 overs after lose of all recoganized batsman. So it went in NOVA CC way to bundle the Thunders to all out for 115 with more than 30 balls to spare.

• Well deserved victory for the NOVA CC at the end. They outplayed the Thunders in all departments of the game. More perfect actions still needed from Thunders to bounce back.
