- Rockers Captain Karthik, Won the toss and elected to bat first. Their strike bowler Raghu and his brother, hard hitter Prasanna were back into actions after 1 month.
- Opener, good striker of the ball, Rajinikanth never failed to punish the loose deliveries and given a very good start with an amazing 47 runs.
- But there was no support from the middle order and the lower end which resulted them to score 95 runs.
- Thunders had a good start from their captain Sanjai, scored 10 runs from the first over and very well follow up from non-striker vice-captain Anand.
- Good middle order batting from Elango, Joseph, Rajseh Sharma and Karthik, reached the target ease including a wonderful six from Joseph off Raghu at deep cover point.
- It was a poor bowling display from Rockers caused them to lose second consecutive match against Thunders.
