Thunders Team Meeting for Season 2011

Thunders team meeting held on today and discussed about the approach for the upcoming season 2011.

Attendees: Sanjai, Anand, Kalyan, Sachin, Gaurav and Karthik.

Venue: Starbucks, Herndon, VA 20171.

Discussion Summary:

Communication:

1. General informations like schedules, venues of matches and practices need to be informed to all players of Thunders either in form email or publishing in the website.

2. Administrative informations like discussion of team selection, strategies for matches need to be within the short email group.

Actions Before Match:

3. Sanjai, Kalyan and Anand have to discuss and select The Playing 11, Backup Players, Batting Order, Strategies, Team Option after Toss(either to bat or field) and Players responsible for Wickets and Cones Collection(before and after the match) before end of every Wednesday.

4. These informations have to be communicated to the short email group before end of every Wednesday.

5. The short email group has to respond before end of Thursday, if there is any suggestion.

6. The suggestions(if any) have to be discussed within the short email group and send out the final decisions to the playing 11 before end of every Friday.

Actions After Match:

7. Record all lessons learned including wrong decisions, strategies of the match within the short email group.

8. The short email group has to discuss and make sure that the mistakes won't repeat in the next match.

Target for Thunders:

9. Adminitrators have to schedule practice matches if Thunders doesn't have a match in WMCL. This will give an opportunity for all players to correct their mistakes and improve the game/form. Also Thunders can test any new strategies like Changing the batting order, Bowling Options and Fielding Placements.

10. Find few more good new players and make the team strength to 15 regular/permanent players. This will give an option to choose only the performing players and will give a threat to non-performing players within the regular/permanent players.

Policy Change for New Comers:

11. Change/Add Thunders Policy for new comers to make sure that they work hard to find their place into the team like Attend all practice sessions, Present for the full scheduled pratice time(should not leave in the middle), Participate more in fielding(should not do only batting or bowling), Share all works in practices and matches(place and collect wickets, cones and other team properties like bat, ball, gloves, water bottles).

Note: Point 11 has been added in the Policy as 1.6.
