2012 SPRING CRICKET LEAGUE GENERAL INFORMATION
THE LEAGUE: Division 1 will consist of twelve (12) teams. The remaining teams will make up Division 2. Division 2 will be split into equal divisions based on the number of teams that register. Playoffs will consist of 66% of the total teams registered within each league, up to a maximum of 16 teams. New teams are required to register in Division 2. The bottom two teams in Division 1 will be moved down to Division 2, the top teams in Division 2 will be moved up to Division 1 to get a maximum of twelve (12) teams in Division 1. (Division moves will be: Fall 2011 to Spring 2012 and Spring 2012 to Fall 2012)
ENTRY FEE: $500.00 per team
NOTE: All Loudoun County Adult Sports teams are subject to a $29.00 fee for each non-resident player. The non-resident fees should be added to the entry fee.
• Non-resident fees are non-transferable or refundable.
• A $50 late fee will be assessed to all teams that register after the deadline this is contingent that space is available, and time permits in creating the schedule.
• Out of county fees are non-refundable or transferable.
ENTRY DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MARCH 12, 2012 at 5PM, CLOSE OF BUSINESS,
NO EXCEPTIONS. must include entry fee, proofs of residency, non-resident fees (checks only made payable to: “County of Loudoun”) roster, and completed commitment form (including email). Entries without completed residency information WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED serve basis. (Required 1) Signed Roster 2) Commitment Form 3) Proof of . CAPTAINS MEETING: The mandatory captain’s meet is on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 7:30P-9:30P on the first floor of the PRCS main office.

AWARDS: Each team that wins a division will receive an individual trophy for its team members. Each team that wins the post season tournament as well as the runner up will receive either a trophy or a cup.
RESIDENCY: All rosters must be comprised of at least 66% Loudoun County residents, with proof of residencies submitted with team rosters. Proof of residency can be a copy of one of the: Driver’s license, non-driver ID, utility bill, lease etc. Phone book entries will not be accepted. Rosters should include full legal name (no nicknames), signatures, addresses, zip codes, jersey numbers, and at least one telephone number of all coaches and players. Incomplete rosters will not be accepted until complete.
DIVISION PREFERENCE: Teams are asked to give preferences of divisional play on the commitment form. However, Parks, Recreation and Community Services cannot guarantee that teams will receive their preference. Once a particular division is full, the second choice given by the team will be followed. Those teams that were not able to be given any of their choices will be given any other available option (provided it does not damage the competitiveness of the league) or can have their entry fee returned.
