Thunders had a slow start. An excellent a wicket maiden of 7th over by Saqib and just 1 run from 8th over by Amir restricted Thunders 34/3 in first 10 overs. Once again Thunders Saviour Sagar steadied the innings with support from Sanjai. When the score was ticking to a target of 100, Asif bowled an exceptional spell to pull back the game. Thunders were 73/7 in 17 overs and took the batting powerplay. A brilliant death end bowling from Asif, bowled a maiden last over restricked Thunders  85/9 in 20 overs.

Scorpions were very happy with the total which seemed to be easy target for sublime form Qasim and team. But Thunders had Qasim before he settled down. A cracking cameo from Saqib, scoring 12 runs in an one over was ended in the next over by a brilliant run out. Though wickets fallen in regular interval, Jitesh the man who had the entire game in control. He was very patient and kept his head cool, showed very good temperament thorough out the game. A late firework from Safar with Jitesh brutal innings, put the equations in favour of scorpions. Scorpions were the favorites before Jitesh misread Divyesh leg side line. 8 required off last overs with 5 wickets in hand, looked very easy at the moment. But Thunders bowlers Muruganantham and Ram made it very difficult for Scorpions lower order, ended with 1 run short off victory. 

Though some controversal decisions on the field, the umpires Rahul(Gladiators) and Piyush(Patriots) did good job by kept the consistant throughout the game.
